What it costs

Domi never sets a price.

Domi picks the dishes. The price of each one, its add-ons, the tax and the total come from your menu and your database, never from Domi.

How they pay

A saved card pays in the chat. A link is for the rest.

A customer who saved a card on an earlier order says “use my card”, and Domi charges it, with no link to open and no checkout page. A customer with no saved card, and every catering order, gets a link that opens on your own web address, like checkout.yourrestaurant.com, once your domain is set up.

  • Catering orders of $250 or more can also pay with Klarna, Afterpay or Affirm

Before it charges

Six seconds to change their mind.

After a customer confirms, Domi waits six seconds and reads anything new they wrote. A “wait”, a “stop” or an “add a drink” holds the charge, and Domi asks what to change. An “ok” or a “thanks” does not.

  • A question about the price, the address or the timing holds the charge too
  • If the check cannot run, nothing is charged

How it works

From a message to a paid order.

  1. They write or send a voice note

    To your own number, in any language. They can start with “menu” for your menu or “best sellers” for your top three.

  2. Domi builds the order

    It matches their words to your dishes, nicknames included. The price of every dish comes from your menu.

  3. They pay

    With a saved card, Domi charges it in the chat after a six second check. Without one, they get a link on your own web address.

Straight answers.

Does it work for catering?

Yes, in the same chat. When a customer says catering, or the word your restaurant uses for it, like “picadera”, Domi switches to your catering menu. Catering orders are placed at least one day ahead and are always paid on the link.

Will Domi say yes to delivery anywhere?

No. Before it says yes, it checks the customer’s address against your delivery radius, and catering has its own radius.

What if a customer writes when we are closed?

Domi tells them you are closed and offers three things: place the order for when you open, schedule it, or prepare it and send a link to finish it when you open.
