The week

Planned on Friday, running on Monday.

Every Friday Domi plans the next seven days: up to a post a day, a deal for each day you are open, and an email only when there is a reason. Posts go out to your connected Facebook and Instagram on their own, and offer emails send between 10 AM and 2 PM.

• Your own photos go first, and each one rests 21 days before it comes back
• An email goes out only for a reason: last month’s top sellers, a holiday, a day you flagged, or that day’s deal

Daily deals

The deal depends on who is ordering.

Domi aims each day’s deals by how many times a customer has ordered. A first-timer sees every deal of the day, the strongest included. Someone with one or two orders sees the nudges. A regular sees only what is meant for regulars and for everyone, because they were coming back anyway.

Limits

Hard limits on every deal Domi writes.

Percent off never goes above 25%. When a deal is built around dishes, three more rules hold: dollars off never go above 30% of the cheapest dish it covers, Domi never picks a sauce, a side or a drink, and never a dish under a price floor taken from your own menu.

• Set a weekly limit and once you have given away that much, the deals come down and their emails stop

Always true

No email promises a deal that’s gone.

Every morning at 7 your time, Domi checks each offer email against the deals that are live that day. Change a deal and Domi rewrites its email right away, and nothing goes out until it does. Take a deal away and that customer gets no email at all.
